
Dominique London: Miquel Angel Palacios i Moliner appointed Group Operations Manager
The group led by Dominique Gyselinck and Frederic Dechamps is recruiting the former Managing Director of Maori Tabacs, distributor of Cuban cigars in Andorra.
Dominique London announces the appointment of Miquel Angel Palacios i Moliner as Group Operations Manager.
“This strategic appointment further strengthens the group’s global management structure and supports its continued expansion across key international markets,” Dominique London stated in a press release.
Miquel Angel Palacios i Moliner previously worked in the travel retail division of wine producer Freixenet S.A., where he led international sales strategies in airports, duty-free shops, cruise lines, and diplomatic channels. Prior to that, he was Managing Director of Maori Tabacs, the exclusive distributor of Cubans cigars in the Principality of Andorra. Early in his career, Miquel held international leadership positions at Imperial Brands and Tabacalera, where he headed operations related to premium cigars in Europe and Asia-Pacific.
“His background combines strategic finance, operations, and brand development – key pillars for Dominique London’s next phase of growth,” the press release stated.
“A pleasure to be back in this wonderful industry,” Miquel Angel Palacios i Moliner told L’Amateur de Cigare.
With nearly 33 locations across seven European countries (Belgium, Switzerland, Monaco, the United Kingdom, Spain, Germany, and Luxembourg), Dominique London is the largest European network of cigar and spirits boutiques.
