Les Fines Lames co-founder Pablo Rodet steps down
The co-founder of the accessories company was in charge of international sales development. He will leave his position on June 30th.
“We are writing to inform you that Pablo Rodet, co-founder of Les Fines Lames and current CEO in charge of international sales development, will be stepping down from his role after seven years. His contract will end on June 30th, 2025”, wrote Pierre Jourdan and Pablo Rodet, the two co-founders of Les Fines Lames, in an email to their clients.
“Over the past seven years, he has contributed significantly to the company’s development, notably by structuring and enhancing its international distribution network”, reads the text dated June 2.
“I’m proud of what we’ve built – with the team, our partners, and the cigar community who trusted us from day one. Thank you all”, quotes Pablo Rodet.
“Pablo’s strategic insight and entrepreneurial drive have played a central role in the brand’s international growth”, quotes Pierre Jourdan.
“As Les Fines Lames enters a new phase of its development – supported by the Vandermarliere Cigar Family group since 2023 – the company maintains its commitment to innovation, independence, and international reach,” the letter continues.
As L’Amateur de Cigare exclusively revealed on April 30, Fred Vandermarliere’s VCF group (formerly J.Cortès-Oliva) took full control of the accessories manufacturer by purchasing the shares of Pierre Jourdan and Pablo Rodet a few months earlier.
Les Fines Lames was founded in 2015 by Pablo Rodet and Pierre Jourdan and has achieved significant success, notably thanks to its cigar cutters made in France.
