\u201cDue to the extraordinary demand generated by Cohiba\u2019s 60th anniversary, all tickets have been sold exclusively through the Habanos SA distribution network,\u201d the Havana-based group announced in an email to these distributors two months before the 2026 Festival del Habano.<\/p>\n
This announcement means that the organizers will not be putting tickets on sale to the general public, as was sometimes the case in previous years.<\/p>\n
Habanos SA also released the initial program for this 26th edition, which will take place from February 23 to 27 in the Cuban capital. No major changes are expected for an event whose overall format holds few surprises from one year to the next.<\/p>\n
The opening party will be dedicated to the H. Upmann brand, while the Wednesday evening, designated as the “intermediate” event, will be an opportunity for Habanos SA to launch a Trinidad Reserva Cosecha 2022 \u2013 the specific vitola has not yet been announced.<\/p>\n
The Festival will conclude with a gala dinner on Friday, this year celebrating Cohiba’s 60th anniversary.<\/p>\n
In addition to the conferences, panels, and various competition sessions of the Habanos World Challenge held at the Havana Convention Center throughout the week, Tuesday will, as usual, be devoted to plantation tours, and Thursday morning to factory visits.<\/p>\n
