Having already pioneered limited editions for the duty-free market and the Chinese New Year, Davidoff is now launching special editions dedicated to specific cities.

Dubbed the “City Edition,” this program debuts with two cigars that will be sold exclusively at Davidoff flagship stores in New York and Las Vegas.

Although the tobacco origins are identical—Ecuadorian wrapper and binder, with a Dominican filler—the New York and Las Vegas City Editions feature distinct blends. In fact, photographs provided by the manufacturer show that the New York edition has a darker wrapper than the Las Vegas version. Furthermore, Davidoff rates the “intensity” of the New York edition at 3.5 out of 5, while the Las Vegas edition is rated at 3 out of 5. The Swiss group also notes in its press release that a portion of the filler tobacco for the Las Vegas City Edition has been aged in casks.

Both cigars, presented in boxes of 10, share the same dimensions: 140 mm x 55.

They are perfect for travellers and collectors alike”, says Javier González, SVP Head Global Marketing & Innovation at Oettinger Davidoff.

Both cigars will be available at the flagship stores in both cities starting November 2.

Davidoff has one flagship store in Las Vegas (3200 S Las Vegas Blvd #1245) and three flagship stores in New York (515 Madison Avenue, Midtown East; 1390 Avenue of the Americas, Midtown West; 156 Broadway, Brooklyn).
