Trinidad Villa (LCDH + HS) unveiled in Mexico
The churchill reserved for Casas del Habano and Habanos Specialists stores was presented in Mexico City last week.
Announced at the 25th Festival del Habano last February, the Trinidad Villa (Casas del Habano and Habanos Specialists edition) was presented to the public on November 13th in Mexico City at an event organized by Habanos SA and IEPT, its exclusive distributor in Mexico.
The Trinidad Villa is a churchill, 170 mm long with a ring gauge of 47 (factory name: Julieta No. 3). It is available in boxes of 12 at a suggested retail price of €81 each (price may vary depending on the market).
It takes its name from the colonial villas of the Cuban city of Trinidad, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
This is the second time Mexico has hosted the global launch of a new Habanos cigar. The previous launch was on April 22, 1998, with the Trinidad Fundadores at the Club de Banqueros in Mexico City.
Approximately 200 people attended the event in Jardín Lambú, in the hills above the Mexican capital.
Traditionally, the country hosting the launch party enjoys an exclusivity period of a few weeks to a few months, although the cigar is not yet available in Mexican shops – it will be in early 2026. It is not yet known when Trinidad Villa will be available in other markets.
