As with the first edition, 500 numbered boxes are reserved exclusively for Zino stores in Abidjan.

Following the Horacio Marfiloso exclusive to Cote d’Ivoire and launched in 2022, Zino Cigares, which has seven boutiques and a smoking lounge in Abidjan, announces the release of the Marfiloso II.

The Horacio Marfiloso II retains the same vitola (133 mm x 66), now adorned with two red bands. “This new version introduces a subtle yet significant evolution to the blend: the addition of an extra filler leaf, bringing greater complexity, aromatic depth, and richness to the palate,” Zino Cigares states in a press release.

Production is once again limited to 500 boxes of 15 cigars each. The cigar’s name is derived from the Spanish translation of Côte d’Ivoire, “Costa de Marfil.”

The Horacio Marfiloso II will be launched at a dinner in Abidjan on Friday, May 8, 2026, in the presence of Sylvain Toaldo, co-founder of Horacio. The cigars will be available starting the following day, Saturday, May 9, exclusively at Zino Cigares outlets.
