Nirka Reyes’ SAGA Cigars Coming To France

Dominican cigars crafted by De Los Reyes are available in French cigar shops. Seven SKUs are distributed by Volutes et Vitoles.

SAGA cigars are arriving in French tobacco shops.

Since 2013, the De Los Reyes factory has been led by Nirka Reyes, the heir to a six-generation family saga. She is the first Dominican woman to head a brand of handmade cigars in her home country.

“A few years ago, I had the pleasure of taking part in several ‘Nuits de l’Amateur’ events,” she recalls. “It became clear to me that France plays a key role as a flagship country for a European presence. The French ‘art of living well’ makes the French market particularly drawn to quality and traditional craftsmanship—qualities and traditions that serve as the pillars of our own craft.”

There are seven offerings in the Short Tales line, each with a unique blend:
– Tomo I (102 mm x 58 – €17.60). Wrapper: Nicaragua, binder: Indonesia, filler: Dominican Republic and North America;
– Tomo II (127 mm x 54 – €17.70). Wrapper: Dominican Republic, binder: Indonesia, filler: Dominican Republic and North America;
– Tomo III (108 mm x 42 – €13.30). Wrapper: Ecuador, binder: Dominican Republic, filler: Dominican Republic and Brazil;
– Tomo IV (102 mm x 44 – €13.40). Wrapper: Ecuador, binder: Dominican Republic, filler: Dominican Republic and Pennsylvania;
– Tomo V (130 mm x 34 – €12.90). Wrapper: Ecuador, binder: Dominican Republic, filler: Dominican Republic and Connecticut;
– Tomo VI (140 mm x 58 – €18.70). Wrapper: Mexico, binder: Dominican Republic, filler: Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and Pennsylvania;
– Tomo VII (127 mm x 52 – €17.60). Wrapper: Nicaragua, binder and filler: Dominican Republic.

Distribution in France is handled by Volutes & Vitoles.
