The first Quai d’Orsay Especial d’Orsay released in Andorra
The cigar celebrates 50 years of the brand. The first boxes of 5 cigars are available in the principality.
Announced at the 24th Festival del Habano, the Quai d’Orsay Especial d’Orsay (153 mm x 53 mm, sobresalientes) has been available in Andorra for a few days, Maori Tabacs, the Habanos exclusive distributor in the Pyrenean principality, told L’Amateur.
This cigar celebrates the 50th anniversary of the brand, created in 1974 at the initiative of France’s tobacco monopoly. While not strictly a limited edition, Habanos SA specified at its presentation in February 2024 that the Quai d’Orsay Especial d’Orsay would indeed be produced “in limited quantities.”
Currently, commemorative boxes of five cigars are on sale in Andorra—the same boxes that were available to attendees of the 24th Festival del Habano. The cigar will then be sold in boxes of 20.
The boxes are priced at €275, or €55 per cigar.
