Appearance: An attractive, smooth, and uniform maduro wrapper. Supple to the touch.
Cold draw: Autumnal hints, with lichen and leather. Good draw.
Smoking experience:
First third: The first few puffs are elegant and engaging. Beautifully crafted vegetal and roasted aromas (cappuccino). Good draw and good structure.
Second third: Increasingly complex, the cigar serves up vegetal notes, toasted hazelnut, cedar, and a hint of peat. A powerful, tasty, and dynamic smoke.
Final third: Enjoyable flavour right up until the final puffs. Dries up slightly with a little astringence at the very end. A satisfying smoke.
When to smoke it: After lunch or after dinner.
The ADC’s Conclusion: A very well-made, energetic, powerful, and richly aromatic cigar. Considering its reasonable price, it is very nearly worth 5 bands.
Rate : 4.5 / 5
