A bold and powerful start, but the first third, though lively, has a fragile balance of toasted and nutty flavors that struggle to impose themselves with such pronounced strength from the outset.

A deeper and more reassuring second third makes for a more full-bodied smoke after its uncertain start. The flavor profile, initially woody with a slight hint of bitterness, dries out, becoming woodier, with a touch of mocha.

The final third, deep and powerful, is satisfying without being intoxicating. A virile finish.

An expressive and dynamic robusto. Very engaging and warmly recommended.
