La Escepción Selectos Reales RE Italy 2025 Celebrates 25 Years of Diadema
The final installment of a trilogy that revived this Cuban label exclusively for the Italian market, this regional edition commemorates the 25th anniversary of the local distributor.
Unveiled last week to mark the 20th anniversary of La Casa del Habano Milano, La Escepción Selectos Reales RE Italy 2025 celebrates 25 years of Diadema S.p.A., the Habanos exclusive distributor in Italy.
Founded around 1850, the La Escepción label was officially discontinued in 1989. However, in 2011, Diadema S.p.A. convinced Habanos S.A. to relaunch this prestigious and historic brand, which had remained dormant for over twenty years. This led to the creation of the “La Escepción Trilogy,” the first two regional editions of which, exclusive to Italy, were Selectos Finos (165 mm x 38) in 2011 and Don José (127 mm x 48) in 2015.
The third model, the Selectos Reales, is a 140 mm long figurado with a 52 ring gauge. This vitola, called a campana in Cuban factories, is the same as the Bolivar Belicosos Finos or the Romeo y Julieta Belicosos.
The Escepción Selectos Reales RE Italy 2025 is offered in cabinet of 50 units. 4,000 cabinets will be produced.
To date, the distributor Diadema is unable to provide a release date or price.
