Les Fines Lames’ Tribute To The Flying Tigers
For the 250th anniversary of U.S. independence, the French accessory manufacturer is unveiling a collection dedicated to the Flying Tigers squadron.
“For the 250th birthday, we wanted to celebrate with an idea that’s been in our mind for years. To us, it’s one of the most mythic (yet overlooked) episodes in American military history:The Flying Tigers Squadron.” This nickname was given to a squadron of American pilots based in China during World War II.
To mark the occasion, Les Fines Lames is launching “Le PETIT” knife featuring a Cerakote® Armor Black coating. “Le PETIT” cigar cutter sports an all-stealth look, combining an ultra-durable matte black blade with a black anodized aluminum handle. It comes with a matching leather cigar case. Both items feature the famous “Shark Mouth” design found on the “Flying Tigers” squadron’s P-40 Warhawk fighter planes.
Production is limited to 250 units of each item. The global launch takes place this Monday, June 29.
The limited-edition “Le PETIT” Flying Tigers model is priced at €199, while the limited-edition Flying Tigers case sells for €125.
