Norio Hattori to leave The Pacific Cigar Company
The regional marketing director of the Asian group has resigned. He will leave PCC at the end of June.
Norio Hattori, regional marketing director for The Pacific Cigar Company (PCC), will be leaving the exclusive distributor of Cuban cigars in Asia at the end of June, he announced to L’Amateur de Cigare.
The French-Japanese executive joined PCC in 2012 after a career in the luxury goods industry. Since 2023, he has also served as special advisor for Tang Tobacco Japan, distributor of Cuban cigars and several other brands in Japan.
He also headed the accessories brand SIGLO, a flagship brand of the PCC group.
“This marks the end of a very important chapter in my life, rich in memories and exceptional achievements,” he explained in a letter. “The world of (Cuban) cigars is a true family, and I will miss interacting with you all.”
“Certainly, we have had to, and continue to have to, overcome many challenges, both commercial and geopolitical, but I am convinced that cigars and the passion we share make us stronger,” he adds.
