The group’s thirty-third store benefits from the Habanos Specialist label. It is based in Strassen, just outside the capital of the Grand Duchy.

 

The Dominique London group continues its expansion. Dominique Gyselinck has just opened its 33rd boutique, this time in Luxembourg. A strategic location that also caters to the many Belgian enthusiasts affected by stricter regulations.

Located in Strassen, a stone’s throw from the capital of the Grand Duchy, the Dominique London Luxembourg boutique is managed by Benoit Bail, a familiar face to rum aficionados, as he was an ambassador for the Saint-James and Depaz brands and an organizer of events dedicated to sugarcane spirits, notably the Bordeaux Rhum Festival. He has also been involved in the cigar industry for about fifteen years, four of them professionally.

Many enthusiasts attended the inauguration, which took place on Wednesday, June 10th. A promising start, “this is the best opening in the group in terms of revenue,” emphasizes Benoit Bail. It must be said that the temptations are numerous and the local clientele generally has comfortable purchasing power.

Bearing the Habanos Specialist label, the tobacconist currently offers approximately 40% Cuban vitolas and 60% cigars from other countries. From Cuba, there are numerous Cohibas and classics (Romeo y Julieta, Partagás), as well as some rare tins: Robaina, Juan Lopez, and Por Larranaga. Benoit Bail plans to eventually have roughly one-third Cuban vitolas and two-thirds from other regions. All are perfectly humidified thanks to a custom-designed mist-spraying system.

Also renowned for its spirits selection, the shop carries three gins and three vodkas produced in Wales, along with a few Scotch whiskies personally selected by Dominique Gyselinck. A logical British connection for a business named Dominique London.

With over thirty locations in seven countries (Belgium, Switzerland, Spain, the United Kingdom, Germany, Monaco, and Luxembourg), Dominique London boasts the largest network of cigar shops in Europe.
