The Swiss group “condemns the invasion and the use of violence in Ukraine”.

Davidoff is the first major player in the cigar industry to announce the suspension of its activities in Russia.

Asked by L’Amateur, the Swiss group sent us the following statement:

“We condemn the invasion and the use of violence in Ukraine and we support the sanctions adopted by the US, the European Union as well as Switzerland. This is why, after careful consideration, we have to temporarily suspend our business with the Russian Federation until further notice.”
