Robusto
127 mm × 50 (21 mm)
After showing off some nice woody, almost resinous notes in the cold draw, this Robusto starts off elegant ; not overly powerful, with roasted (nutty and toasted) notes underpinned by meaty smoke. Earthy, chocolatey touches give the first third a nice complexity. The second third opens up to a decidedly earthier atmosphere with distant traces of bitterness that quickly dissipate. The chocolatey notes are also still around, as well as sultanas and honeyed aromas. Its strength allows the cigar to express itself even more. Full-flavored smoke highlights its great complexity and a very agreeable persistence. Virile and satisfying finish with toasted notes. A complex, well-built cigar with very persistent flavors that represents excellent value for money.
